Butterscotch Cake with Caramel Icing

A moist and delicious brown sugar sheet cake with caramel icing, is the best idea for any special occasion.

All you need is:

2 Cups Brown Sugar.

2 Cups Flour.

1 Cup Buttermilk.

1/2 Cup Butter.

2 large eggs.

1 tsp vanilla extract.

1 tsp baking powder.

1 tsp baking soda.

a pinch of salt.

INSTRUCTIONS :

FIRST STEP _ I preheated oven to 350℉, and prepared 3 round pans using parchment

peper.

SECONG ONE: I creamed together butter and sugar, until fluffy, i added vanilla and eggs

and beated until well combined.

In another bowl i mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, I added buttermilk

then eggs mixture, and i mixed very well.

I poured the batter into the baking pans, and bake for 25 minutes.

For caramel icing, I mixed together 1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar – 1/4 Cup Milk- 1/4 Cup

butter- 1 Tablespoon flour – and vanilla extract, in a small saucepan and heat over medium

to low heat, stirring frequently.

I cooked the mixture for 2 minutes, then I spread the Icing over the top and made two

layers.

I let it cool for 3 hours before serving.
